That sounds like some scary stuff. Al-Qaida members from Yemen are being blamed like last years failed Detroit bombing during Christmas time.

The Dark Knight Rises

The new Batman movie set to release in July 2012. The Dark Knight Rises. Distributor Warner Bros. confirmed the title for director Christopher Nolan’s third movie about Batman. Personally i cant wait for this movie. They have announced that the villain will not be the riddler but than who could it possibly be??? My guess would be closer to Baine the huge South American guy that uses some machine to pump steroids into his body.

Tsunami Volcanos Earthquakes OH MY!

Tsunami and eruption occur near Indonesia.
     113 people die in a ten foot high tsunami. Many more missing. The fault were the intial drop happened was the same place as the 2004 tsunami that killed over 230,000 people! I would like to say that this was a scary event for the people but atleast it is not as bad as the 2004 tsunami. "The 7.7-magnitude quake that struck late Monday just 13 miles beneath the ocean floor was followed by at least 14 aftershocks, the largest measuring 6.2, according to the U.S. Geological Survey"

La Sierra Carnival

The once a year La Sierra carnival had plenty of activities to try. They had the Drama Jail which was really annoying but a whole lot of fun. There was a cake walk, How fast can you throw by the baseball team, Get married, Year book pictures, Win a Fish. There were many different choices in food such as Chinese Jamba Juice Frost Bites Carne Asada Cakes frozen lemonade pretty much everything you expected. I am pretty sure the school raised alot of money from the turn out of the students. I felt that the school could have raised alot more money if the security guards let some students back on campus just to put the prizes they had in the car and get some money but I realized its a safety issue and those are the rules.   

Sorry To All You Pot Heads

     To all the potheads out there, Prop 19 is trailing badly, according to a new Los Angeles Times/USC poll, which found likely voters opposing the measure 51% to 39%. Voters younger than 40 are in favor of it by 48% to 37%, but older voters, who say they are more enthusiastic about voting in this election, are not. Among likely voters 65 and over, only 28% support the measure, while 59% said they were opposed. I think that prop 19 will fail because to many of you potheads will think oh yea there are many smokers out there prop 19 will pass. But i think all of you will be smoking that day of voting get high and completely forget to vote for it. I don't smoke but it is funny as hell to see someone high on weed walk down the street with a huge bag of chips stumbling everywhere, Or the idiot in class who who keeps on saying he has the munchies cause he got "soooo high". Users need to watch what they say and do if they want to make history this November and make marijuana completely legal.

Mexico's biggest Marijuana Bust!!! Over 105 Tons yes 105 Tons.

As November comes closer the funniest proposition in mind to ever come up is Prop 19, legalization of marijuana. I went on to yahoo and see this title " Mexico's biggest pot bust and that made me curious for numbers. Apparently law enforcement had given an estimate of 105 tons packaged and ready for sale. But as the weighing went on their estimate seemed way off. They believe that they had seized over there estimate of 105 tons of weed belonging to Mexico's most powerful Cartel. The Sinaloa run by Mexico's most wanted fugitive, Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, now is moving drugs through the Tijuana.

Teacher Interview

-Should teachers be allowed merit pay?

Answer : Yes we work hard for the entire school year.


-Do you think students need to pass the california high school exit exam in order to graduate?
Answer: Well yes, students were taught this simple material in middle school some there freshman year. They should all be able to pass with out even trying. California already has it a requirement why change it.


-What should teachers do to help students more?
Answer: I personally believe the question should be what should the parents and students do to better them. And the answer is the parents should be more involved, the students need to show up to school everyday and on time. 


-If a student is short even one credit should the teacher fail them?
Answer: Yes teachers have to do what is fare between all students. If my top student has a 95% that is an A that he/she earned. If my laziest student has a 59% that is an F that he/she earned.


-Should the process to fire a teacher be changes?
Answer: In some cases yes.


-If we spend more money on students will they do better in school?
Answer: I have absolutely no idea. I think that students and parents need to play a more active roll in the students education overall.




-Should there be a dress code for students?
Answer: Yes there really should be a dress code of wearing uniforms.




-Should teachers have a higher degree to become a teacher?
Answer: No they should continue to have the choice to further their education while still having a job.


-Do you thik teachers should be paid the same a doctor/nurse ? Aren't they just as important?
Answer: No the job titles are completely different, but I would love to be paid as much as a doctor.

-Do you think students should be offered more scholarships'?
Answer: No they need to apply themselves and go search online their are thousands out there.

Finally all 33 miners out of the hole. 33 miners where trapped for 69 days. The recur team thought that it might take four months be for the men could be rescued butthat time was cut nearly in half. After the rescue tunel was finished they beleived it would take forty-eight hours but it only took an astounding twenty-three hours and thirty seven minutes.         A girl in Ohio who had an accent was tormented every day by students at Mentor High School. In the past few years 4 teens had died by the hands of him or herself, either by overdose, and hangings. This is a serious matter that everyone needs to be aware of. Many people who are bullied admit that they are scared that if they tell on their bully than the teasing and threats will be worse, but at what cost is it. There are to many deaths related to Bullying and people need to stick up for those who go through it every day.

It has to have a minor on both sides, or at least have been instigated by a minor against another minor. Once adults become involved, it is plain and simple cyber-harassment or cyberstalking. Adult cyber-harassment or cyberstalking is NEVER called cyberbullying.

People who get harassed eventually cant take it anymore and will take their life because of ignorant people who get a kick out of seeing others hurt. Some of these people are  Seth Walsh,13, hung himself from a backyard tree ...13 year old boy n Texas shot himself in the head after years of bullying and torment for being gay.Tyler Clementi, 18 & a freshman at Rutgers, jumped off the GW Bridge - his roommate broadcast video of Tyler with another guy.

"Bored" Meeting.....WOOOOooo

I am seriously glad this is my last meeting tonight. Not once did i see the meeting reach "intense" it seemed more like a sad story. Many teachers mostly female went to the meeting and shared their story with the board and audience. They all had the same view of, our classes are to full. one teacher had 40 students and only 35 chairs available. Mrs. Hughes teacher for 37 years at La Sierra High school noticed how there are so many students at our school who are hungry, and homeless and it's heartbreaking. All the female teachers all commented on how they all took the pay cut last year in order to save teachers jobs but unfortuntly there were many who got the pink slip. They all are happy that teachers have been re-hired but they also want that money that was taken last year.
